Established in Italy in 1944, A.Celli develops and supplies high-end machinery for the production of nonwoven fabric, setting technological standards in the world of roll winding processes and, more broadly, across the entire end-of-line of production plants.

The solutions offered by A.Celli are tailor-made to meet the needs of manufacturers worldwide, aiming to improve production efficiency, reduce energy consumption and downtime, and ensure superior quality finished products.

The goal of the A.Celli Group, which perfectly aligns with the definition of a “Smart Factory,” is the full integration of machinery across the production line—from winders and rewinders to automatic packaging systems, from automated product handling solutions (AGVs, conveyor belts) to automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS).

On top of all this, A.Celli provides Industry 4.0 digital solutions for plant monitoring and optimization, warehouse management software (WMS), and RFID technology for product tracking and quality certification.

In this decade, the company’s operations take on an international character, with the first rewinder manufactured for a foreign customer. Marco Celli and Piero Celli, sons of the founder Alvaro, join the company, and A.Celli Mechanical Industries SpA moves to a larger production plant in Porcari (Lucca).

1993

The birth of A.Celli International, founded in Miami, Florida, with the purpose of offering after-sales service, spare parts distribution, and local technical support throughout the American market.
